What you type into a calculator

Your basic pay, date of birth, category, and every other calculator input are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. None of it is sent to a server, stored, or seen by anyone running this site — there's no backend to send it to. Refreshing the page clears it.

Accounts and cookies

This site has no accounts, no login, and no cookies at the time of writing. It's a set of static pages with no server-side processing.

Hosting and basic server logs

Like any website, the hosting provider serving these pages automatically logs standard request data (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) for operational and security purposes. This site's operator doesn't separately collect or analyze this data beyond what the hosting provider's dashboard shows in aggregate.

If analytics or advertising is added later

This site may in the future add privacy-respecting analytics (to see which pages are useful) and/or Google AdSense (to cover hosting costs). Both use cookies — analytics to count visits, and AdSense to serve and measure ads, which may include personalization based on Google's own data. If and when either is switched on, this page will be updated first, with specifics on what's collected and a link to opt out where one exists. Nothing of that kind is running today.

Third-party links

Every calculator links out to the actual government source (an Office Memorandum, a gazette notification, an exam circular) behind its figures — see the Sources page. Those are external government (or, where the original couldn't be reached, third-party mirror) sites with their own privacy practices, not covered by this policy.
